CHAOS

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 2

We welcome you to the heart of Aínsa's Old Town, where ancient stones meet bold ideas. Wander medieval streets between sessions, stumble upon unexpected design conversations, and let the magic of this place spark ideas you never saw coming—where centuries of history become the backdrop for breakthrough thinking.

5:00 PM — Welcome Talks
The Life-Centered Design School opens the festival alongside Jorge Ruiz, our local guide to Sobrarbe's hidden stories. His words will ground us in the landscape that inspired this gathering, setting the stage for three days of creative unraveling.

6:00 PM — Nature Serious Play
Time to put down the business cards and pick up something unexpected. An interactive session where nature becomes your collaborator, not just the surroundings, and fellow participants become accomplices, not just contacts.

8:00 PM — Local Experience Surprise
Ever sipped wine from a 200-year-old vineyard? This is just the beginning. What follows remains our secret: an authentic taste of what makes this place extraordinary.

NATURE

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 3

We trade the rush for rhythm—nature's rhythm. Step away from the noise and into conversations that matter: with the land that inspires us, the minds that challenge us, and the ideas that change us.

9:00 AM — Morning Workshops (3 hours)

  • Reading Nature’s Signs
Join Lean Sancholuz and Marce Xirinachs for a breathtaking hike through the Pyrenees. Learn to read animal tracks, spot birds of prey, and uncover the hidden stories woven into the landscape.

  • 4D Mapping — Designing the Invisible
Led by Tessa Bloembergen, this hands-on session explores the hidden dynamics of systems through 4D Mapping—a practice that transforms complex, intangible relationships into physical, visible form.Using movement, space, and embodied interaction, you’ll map tensions, patterns, and connections that shape the systems around you. This workshop goes beyond thinking—it invites you to feel, see, and shift the living systems you design for.

5:00 PM — Nature Talks @ Patio del Museo

  • Millaray Vega
A fellow Life-Centered Designer, Millaray will share her vision, inspiring projects, and fresh perspectives to spark action and reflection.

  • Isidro Ferrer
In an age shaped by AI, Isidro reminds us of the beauty of the human touch in graphic design, where observation, inspiration, and creativity are deeply rooted in nature and the art of noticing.

7:00 PM — What Would Nature Do?

A guided reflection session with Jeroen Spoelstra. Together, we’ll explore this essential question: What would nature do in the systems we create? Expect insights, questions, and shared discoveries from the day.

8:00 PM — Local Dinner by La Tarara de Guaso

An unforgettable, plant-based feast crafted by the wonderful chef Mayte, whose passion for local, seasonal ingredients shines in every dish. She’ll introduce her creations and share the stories behind this nourishing experience.

9:30 PM — Surprise Screening

A film experience like no other. You’ll just have to wait and see.

DESIGN

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 4

We go back to the first design tools we had: our mind and hands. This day is about making, building, and shaping ideas you can actually touch—reconnecting with the craft that turns fierce concepts into real change.

9:00 AM — Morning Workshops (3 hours)

  • Graphic Design by Hand
Join Isidro Ferrer for a hands-on session where design returns to its purest form, without screens or digital tools. Sharpen your vision, awaken your senses, and rediscover the art of noticing as you design with presence, intention, and the inspiration of the natural world.

  • Art & Nature Experience with Nicole Vindel
Step into a unique blend of contemporary art and nature with renowned food artist Nicole Vindel. Together, you’ll co-create an ephemeral art piece that we’ll admire and reflect on later in the day. Expect magic, creativity, and a fresh perspective on the intersection of art, food, and the environment.

5:00 PM — Backyard Talks @ Patio del Museo

  • Nicole Vindel
Nicole will unveil and share the story behind the collective art piece created during the morning workshop, offering fresh insights into her bold, sensory approach to design and nature.

  • Thorsten Jonas — The Beauty of Imperfection: Designing for Sustainable Experiences
What is perfection—and is it even desirable? Thorsten will explore why the endless pursuit of ‘perfect’ products and experiences often leads us down a harmful, unsustainable path. Instead, he invites us to embrace the lessons of nature, where imperfection fosters resilience, adaptability, and balance. A journey from the myth of perfection to the wisdom of natural systems.

  • Manuela Procopio: Creative Organisms: Design as an Act of Presence
Manuela will explore how design is an act of presence, a transformative force that transcends these boundaries, cultivating a sensibility that allows diverse contexts to coexist. In this landscape, our bodies and minds, as human organisms, remain the creative center of gravity in dialogue with technologies and natural systems, forming an intricate web of interdependence and influence.

7:00 PM — Closing Ceremony & Dinner

No visit to Spain is complete without extraordinary tapas, and tonight, Jorge from Albergue Mora de Nuei will surprise and delight us with his creative, locally-inspired culinary wonders.

As we enjoy good food, drinks, and music under the stars, we’ll close these unforgettable days with a heartfelt ceremony to honor our journey together.
